Who We Are...
Originally established in 2004 as a small breed dog rescue program serving Southern California, Lifeline 4 Paws is one of several humanitarian programs developed and operated by The Hogan Family Foundation. Lifeline 4 Paws is a non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) organization.

After several years of successful operation, the Lifeline 4 Paws program redirected its focus in order to help more homeless pets by providing much needed veterinary assistance for sick and injured dogs. This new focus allows us to realize a much greater impact by supporting other rescue groups with desperately needed, and often life-saving medical care.

We work with reputable organizations that have been carefully screened to insure that proper policies and procedures are in place. These extra steps help ensure all dogs are receiving the best possible care and will have a bright future in a loving, adoptive home.

What We Do...
We assist with veterinary sponsorship for most non-routine medical treatment (non-elective or emergency procedures) for sick or injured dogs that other qualified organizations rescue, and later, place in permanent adoptive homes. The Lifeline 4 Paws sponsorship program is intended for dogs in the care and custody of a qualified rescue group in good standing in the state of California. To be eligible, the rescue group must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

We work with over 100 animal rescue groups in California and have provided assistance for medical treatment for over 2,500 dogs since beginning our medical program in 2007. We are proud to say that 100% of donations made to Lifeline 4 Paws go directly to the care and treatment of sick and injured dogs.
